“Hello – Just wanted to let you know that “Roberto Lizarraga” has just left our home after coming out for an AC check arranged through Home Depot. He called us 30 minutes before hand to notify us of his intended arrival. He arrived on time, introduced himself, and presented his card. He was very polite, took time to listen to our concerns, explained what he was doing and why and very thoroughly explained the problem and possible solutions. Although Roberto told us what we did not want to hear, that we needed a new unit, we were not surprised, and he did so in a very professional manner. We asked a lot of questions, and he patiently answered each one. In general, I find people quick to criticize and complain when service is poor or not what they expected, but rarely offer compliments when service is good. I have been a regular customer with Chas Roberts since 2002 when I purchased the new home that they had installed the HVAC system for Shea Homes. The level of customer service over the years has been “world class.” Starting with the scheduling of the appointments through the final contact with the service technician has been excellent. They do what they say they are going to do, and I have never had any issues requiring a call back visit to complete something that should have been done on the initial visit. “We had an A/C failure on a Sunday. As we had been under warranty through a different HVAC vendor, Chas Roberts responded rapidly after paperwork was resolved. “The Brick” deduced we had a bad thermostat. He spent time in a 100+ degree attic ensuring our air handler was good, all ac power was good, low voltage was good, etc. After deducing it was the ‘stat,’ a replacement was ordered to be installed asap. Our house has three zones and “The Brick” moved a back bedroom ‘stat’ to the Family Room. Very competent and diligent in trouble shooting and explaining his efforts. Thanks Chas Roberts.”

“Mike “The Brick” was very knowledgeable and explained everything that he was doing. After troubleshooting the problem to be a bad drier causing a restriction, he replaced the faulty item and had our system up and running at peak efficiency. He even took the time to show us the pressures into and out of the compressor, and the temperatures on both ends of the high pressure refrigerant line. And he explained what they all meant. Then he showed us the incoming and outgoing air temperatures at the coil in the attic, which provided verification that the system was working properly. After spending some time googling a/c systems to understand them a bit more while we were experiencing problems, we asked a lot of questions. And it was very comforting to see Mike go through all of the steps we had read about online, then explain everything to us. Everything was done with great care and full disclosure. Also, their level of professionalism in scheduling and arrivals was beyond our expectations. When they say they are going to do something, they get it done! We are very impressed with the entire Chas Roberts team!”

“I’ve been a Chas Roberts CAP member for 16 years. On Tuesday my 16 yr old A/C finally died. Chas Roberts’ tech Marcus was at my house with in an hour after I called their office. I had to buy a new A/C. Marcus answered all my questions and was very professional. They installed my new unit the next day. The installers were very professional, answered all my questions and even vacuumed the floor before they left! Service like that is rare in this day and age!!!
