Trained Professionals

Chas Roberts Air Conditioning employs and trains authorized service technicians capable of repairing and maintaining a large variety of residential HVAC equipment. Our technicians are required to attend training programs designed to keep their skills up to date and ensure quality workmanship. The service technician that arrives in your home is certified in refrigerant recovery and recycling. Most are Master Heat pump certified by the Arizona Heat Pump Counsel. All techs are Puron certified by the manufacturer Carrier and Zone system certified by the manufacturer Trane. Many techs and all of their supervisors are mold remediation and removal certified.

Prepared Fleet

Our service vans are thoroughly stocked and if we don't have the part you need, it will be brought to the job site by the Parts Department which stocks hundreds of parts in our warehouses. Occasionally, a part must be ordered by the manufacturer and we strive to make this the speediest process possible.

Check These Simple Items First:

Are the breakers and disconnects turned on?

Is the thermostat set below the room temperature?

Is the thermostat switch set to the cool position?

Is the air filter dirty or full of lint? Dirty filters will lower performance of your cooling.

Helpful Tips for Better Cooling:

TIP 1: Do not turn the air conditioning system off. Part time cooling is poor economy. If the system is turned off when you're away, the home will soak up heat and be more difficult to cool.

TIP 2: Shades, drapes, shutters, or screens are recommended to be installed on windows that are exposed to direct sunlight. Also, plant a tree or put up a canopy to protect your windows from direct sun.

TIP 3: Leave your thermostat alone. When you have found a temperature that you prefer, it is best to leave the thermostat at that setting. If it is necessary to adjust the thermostat only adjust 2-4 degrees.

TIP 4: Clean or replace the filters frequently. Dirty filters will lower performance and efficiency of your cooling.

TIP 5: If you are using a programmable thermostat do not exceed a 2-4 degree difference on the set back temperature.
